John Waters

John Waters is an American film director, screenwriter, author, actor, stand-up comedian, journalist, visual artist, and art collector, who rose to fame in the early 1970s for his transgressive cult films of which PINK FLAMINGOS (1972) and HAIRSPRAY (1988) remain classics to this day. He is also the king of interviewees, appearing in over 35 documentaries.
