Born in 1964, Emmanuelle Devos is one of France’s foremost film and stage actors. Among her numerous acting awards, she won the César for Best Actress in 2002 for her performance in Read My Lips (Sur mes lèvres), directed by Jacques Audiard. She also won the Cesar for Best Supporting Actress in 2010 for her role in Xavier Giannoli’s In the Beginning (Al’Origine). Devos was nominated for the Best Actress award at both the Cesar and Lumière awards in 2018 for her role in Woman Up.
