Christine Horne

Christine Horne is an award-winning actress based in Toronto. Two years after graduating from the theatre program at York University, Christine made her feature film debut as the young Hagar Shipley in The Stone Angel, sharing the role with Academy Award winner Ellen Burstyn. For her work, Christine was nominated for the Vancouver Film Critics Circle Award and the Geraldine Page Best Actress award at California’s Method Fest.

Subsequent credits in film and television include Othello (playing Desdemona opposite Carlo Rota), The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard, Rookie Blue, Befriend & Betray, Republic of Doyle, King, Borealis, and the shorts Happy Pills, The Reception, and RUNG, which made its international premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. She recently completed work on Cybergeddon, created by Anthony Zuiker, Margarita, and the independent feature Sex After Kids.
