Abhishek Verma is an independent animator, filmmaker and communication designer based in New Delhi. He has directed and animated three award-winning animation films, The Sugar Syrup (2014), Hide and Seek (2018) and the crowd-funded The Fish Curry (2017). His upcoming animated short film Kitchen talks about the oppression of Indian women, who spend seventy percent of their life in the kitchen cooking for their families.
