Leslie received her MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute Conservatory. Currently she is based in LA, but travels across the world to pursue narrative storytelling. She recently returned from Tanzania after shooting the dramatic feature Going Bongo. Her directorial debut, Surprise, stars Tess Harper and has been shown at festivals across the globe.
Leslie Bumgarner is known for her work on A.B.S (2012), Thief (2010) and New Year Baby (2006).
